Welcome to the
St. Patrick’s Catholic School website. Since 1857, our school has had a strong
tradition of Catholic education and in fact most of our students have parents
who graduated from this school. Our primary goal as a school is to educate our
students using the gospel values from Christ as our foundation. This year our
school joins the Huron Perth Catholic District School Board in forming a
Catholic Community of Caring. Our students will learn about the virtues of
caring, respect, responsibility, trust and family through our religion programs,
school and class masses and in our special community projects. In keeping with
this fine
tradition we have selected our school motto as: “Hold High the Light
of Christ.”
We hope that parents find this website
a useful source of information about our school. Please find school
newsletters, calendars, staff information and helpful hints that will enable you
to support your child’s education. This site, along with bi-monthly
newsletters, class newsletters, school bulletins, and the principal’s column in
the local newspaper will provide a rich profile of the events and people that
make our school such an incredible place. Parents and guardians are invited
to join us in any of our weekly masses (see schedule), or drop in at one of our
up-coming community functions. We welcome you comments and suggestions and we
look forward to serving this community for the 150th year.
With Peace, John McCarroll,
Principal
