1. Principal’s Report
|
1) Nominations and positions for the upcoming year were discussed. 2) Dan Gracey shared the Board Mission statement, the Catholic Graduate Expectations and mentioned the new roll out of the Board website. 3) Dan expressed an interest in adding a student to the CSAC.

1) Kathleen has accepted the position of Chair of the Council. Marina, Liz and Dan will form the Safe and Healthy School Committee. Lorrie will continue to head the PTA. Josie will continue as our Community/Parish rep. Grietje will serve as our Eco-School rep. All other positions will be Class Reps. 2) Council members will give feedback on how best to plan for, and implement a student position on the council. 3) Council will set up a display at the Open House/BBQ to call for more parents to become involved in the Council. |

It was decided that the goal for our Council would build partnerships and relationships to improve student learning. Specifically, the Council’s goal will be: To encourage and foster positive, respectful communication between parents, teachers, administrators and students to allow for continued parent involvement in improving student achievement by being supporters, advocates, decision makers, and effective models for our children.

-Back to school BBQ date picked. Plans are moving forward for Sept 22. -Marina, Liz and Dan will work to plan for the healthy snack program and accounting for OSNP funds. |
Next Meetings:
Please note, the CSAC must have at least 4 meetings per year. Sub-committees also meet and report to the CSAC (i.e. PTA, Healthy School, ECO school)
